HELLO!
I'm Kayla, a faith-driven mixed media artist creating from Rock Hill, South Carolina. My work is rooted in the belief that we are created by a Creator, made in His image, and called to reflect that creativity in our own unique ways.
THE MEANING BEHIND THE ART
Every painting I create begins with playful intuition—free marks, bold colors, and layers led by curiosity and feeling. From there, I move into a process of intentional refinement, shaping what was spontaneous into something rich with meaning and spiritual depth. It’s a balance of freedom and focus, led by both heart and Holy Spirit.
My style, which I call Faith-Driven Expressionism, blends expressive color with abstract realism and storytelling. Much of my work features symbolic figures—often women in motion—walking forward, standing tall, or rising through adversity. These forms serve as visual metaphors for the faith journey: beautiful, messy, and always unfolding.
At its core, my art is more than expression—it’s ministry. I pray that each piece becomes a window for others to encounter truth, beauty, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Whether you’re navigating joy or grief, celebration or surrender, my hope is that you’ll find something in these works that speaks to your spirit and points you to His love.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”— John 3:16
